Upon arrival in Mangalore Rly Station, meet our representative who will warmly welcome and drive to Kukke Subrahmanya Temple, a popular religious destination which is surrounded by lush green forest along with hills. It is situated on the banks of the Kumaradhara River. The main temple located in Kukke is of Subrahmanya that is dedicated to the Snake God Vasuki and Lord Subrahmanya. Post breakfast at hotel depart for Udupi covering some significant temples. Depart for Hornadu via Dharmasthala. Post 2 hour drive arrive Dharmsthala and visit Lord Manjunatheshwara Temple, main attraction of this town. After having prayers and some other temples visit continue your drive toward Hornadu. On reaching visit the temple and offer your prayers to the Goddess Annapoorneshwari. Later depart for Sringeri is located on the banks of river Tunga and it is the site of the first mutt established by Adi Shankaracharya. The main attraction of Sringeri is Sri Sharadamba Temple and Vidya Shankara Temple. The Vidyashankara temple is an architectural marvel. Visit these two temples and have delicious lunch at the beautiful and large dining hall of the temple. In the afternoon depart for Udupi. Enroute, watch the amazing beauty of Agumbe Ghats. Then proceed to Udupi. On arrival at Udupi, check in to the hotel and proceed to visit Ambalapady Janardhana Mahakali Temple and Kadiyali Mahishamardhini Temple and then visit world famous Sri Krishna Temple. After Breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Murudeshwara. Murudeshwara beach town lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea and is also famous for the Murudeshwara Temple. The main attraction of this place is world's second - tallest Shiva statue and 20 storied Gopura (237.5 feet) is constructed at the temple. Visit Shiva statue and Lord Murudeshwara Temple, built on the Kanduka Hill which is surrounded on three sides by the waters of the Arabian Sea. Then drive to Gokarna. Early morning after bath visit Mahabaleshwara Temple, a sacred pilgrimage site amongst Indian Places. The Mahabaleshwar temple enshrines the Atma Linga of Lord Shiva. Legend says that the holy Linga was given by Lord Shiva to King Ravana to make his kingdom an invincible fortress. Back to hotel. Post breakfast depart for Badami via Pattadkal. In the afternoon arrive Badami and check into hotel. After fresh up ex plore the town of Badami and visit the Banashankari Temple and Badami Cave Temples dating back to the 06th& 07th centuries. Post morning breakfast get ready for excursion of the small town of Pattadakal is a complex of 7th and 8th century CE Hindu and Jain temples in northern Karnataka (India) is also a UNESCO World Heritage site situated just 23km from Badami followed by Aihole temples. Morning after breakfast, check out the hotel drive to Chitradurga. On arrival, visit historical Chitradurga Fort. The Fort was built in stages between the 10th and 18th centuries by the dynastic rulers of the region. The Chitradurga fort is built in a series of seven concentric fortification walls with various passages, a citadel, mosque, warehouses for grains and oil, water reservoirs and ancient temples. On the way drive to Halebid, a regal capital of Hoysala empire during 12th - 13th century. Halebid was earlier called as Dwarasamudra and later got its name as Halebid (the old city) because it was plundered two times during the invasion of Malik Kafur. The Hoysaleswara templewas built during this time by Ketamala (around 1121 AD) and attributed to King Vishnuvardhana, the Ho ysala ruler. It is believed to have been completed around 1160 AD by Kedaroja, the chief architect of Vishnuvardhana's son and Successor Narasi mha I (1142 - 1173). Visit the beautiful temple complex which comprises the Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temples and two Jain basadi. There after drive to Hassan. Post breakfast check out and embark for an excursion of Belur, the earlier capital of Hoysala empire is just 16 Km away from Halebid Temple. The main attraction in Belur is the Chennakeshava temple complex which contains the Chennakesava Temple as the center piece, surrounded by the Kappe Chennigraya temple built by Shantaladevi, queen of king Vishnuvardhana. Visit the temple at Belur, one of the finest examples of Hoysala architecture. It was built by king Vishnuvardhana in commemoration of his victory over the Cholas at Talakad in 1117 CE. Legend has it that it took 103 years to complete and Vishnuvardhana & #39;s grandson Veera Ballala II completed the task. Later depart straightway to Bangalore.
